British Science Week 2023

British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and Maths, running from the 10th-19th March. This year’s theme is CONNECTIONS! To honour this occasion at Redbridge we are hosting some special lessons with our Year 7 and 8s! #britishscienceweek

British Science Week is coordinated by the British Science Association and is funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).

Across this week the Science Department will be running special sessions with Year 7 and 8 Classes, as well as some Science Shows!

With this years theme of CONNECTIONS, we want you to think about your personal experience of connections – from studying the connection between ecofriendly choices and a cleaner planet, to connecting with a classmate to learn how working with others can help people
overcome challenges that they thought they could not do! How has it helped them to become stronger, braver, kinder or more accomplished?

Connections are all around us, and this week we want to encourage you to explore and talk about it!
