KS3 & KS4 Subject Intent
Delivered during extended tutor time every week, Cultural Citizenship aims to expose students to a wide range of social, cultural and economic topics. Students use these topics to develop their communication skills, whilst also building their cultural capital through exploratory talk whilst developing opinions on contemporary news topics from around the world… In addition to developing their linguistic skills, the curriculum within cultural citizenship encompasses many cross-curricular links, which we hope will help students to retain the knowledge acquired both within this course and their other subject areas.
