Actual Salary £ 17,529 – £ 19,193
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Welfare Officer to work as a member of the school Admin team with First Aid responsibilities under the direction of the school Business Manager. The role will require you to assess student medical needs, administer medication and provide first aid, you will also be coordinating vaccination programmes.
Full first aid training will be given to the successful candidate; previous experience in a similar background (education/welfare/care/nursing) would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will:
- Possess excellent communication skills and be able to relate well to young people
- Be able to adapt the role to meet the changing needs of the school
- Be brilliant at multi-tasking and have a good sense of humour!
- Be a positive and professional manner.
- Have a GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Maths
