Year 10 students enjoyed an exciting introduction to archery during their Outdoor Education lesson this week. For many, it was their first experience handling a bow and arrow — and they showed great determination and enthusiasm as they learned the basics of this challenging skill.
Students demonstrated fantastic resilience as they worked hard to hit the target and improve their accuracy with each attempt. There was also a strong sense of teamwork and respect, with pupils offering encouragement and support to one another while maintaining excellent focus on safety throughout the session.
It was a brilliant start to their archery experience, and the group are already looking forward to developing their skills further in future lessons.
