Redbridge Runners for the Southampton Marathon

We have assembled a great team of willing volunteers who are undertaking various running challenges at the Southampton Marathon on 2nd April 2023. We are doing this to raise money for the Saints Foundation as we recognise the great work they have done in our school and the surrounding community.  As an ardent supporter of the local team it’s looking almost certain they’ll drop out of the premier league which will likely result in the funding to the charity being cut, therefore all donations will be vital.

Please read our story and share with anyone who’d like to donate to the Saints Foundation.

We have been lucky at Redbridge to have some fantastic staff from Saints foundation work with our students. This is our chance to give something back.

We have managed to assemble a team that covers almost every department in the school. We’ll be running over 145 Miles on the day between us. Juggling our workload and training will take some serious effort but we’re all committed to doing it.  From our English Department we have Miss Jette-Gray and Miss H Hill. From Maths we have Mr Diaper, Miss Craig and Miss Edgar. From Science we have Mr Triggs. From Business and ICT we have Mr M Flynn and Mr Dare. From Geography we have Mr Bone. From RE we have Mr Wilkes. From Food we have Mrs Chainey. From PE we have Mrs Lang. From MFL we have Miss Hunt. From Eduk8 we have Miss Venn and from Curriculum support we have Ms Beck.

If you are able to show your support and make a donation or fancy joining us on the day ‘en-route’, please follow the links below:
