Bike Maintenance Club

This year brought the start of the bike maintenance club to Redbridge. Every Tuesday after school Mr Millikin will teach students to fix and repair both their own bikes alongside demo bikes to work on. The aim of the club is to empower the students to have the confidence to repair their bikes to allow them to cycle both to school and around the local area. Mr Millikin will also teach them the skills of bicycle maintenance and show them the opportunities for a career in cycling.

The second aim of the club is to make it self-funded. With students repairing donated bikes which we will then either give away to students in need or sell with all proceeds going back in the club to buy parts and supplies. If you happen to have an old bike, tools or parts in your shed you no longer require please let Mr Millikin know and he will gladly take them off your hands.
