Aspiration in Action: Year 8’s 3-Day Adventure Camp πŸŒŸπŸŒ²πŸ•οΈ

Last week, Redbridge Secondary School’s amazing Year 8 students headed off for an unforgettable three-day adventure camp filled with fun, friendship, and new experiences πŸŒ„πŸŽ’.

Set in the heart of nature, the camp gave students the perfect opportunity to explore the outdoors and challenge themselves through exciting activities like hiking πŸ₯Ύ, canoeing πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ, archery 🎯, high ropes πŸ§—β€β™€οΈ, and campfire cooking πŸ”₯🍑.

From start to finish, students demonstrated the Redbridge values:
✨ Aspiration – by pushing themselves out of their comfort zones
🀝 Respect – through kindness, teamwork, and encouragement
🎯 Opportunity – by trying something new each day
πŸ† Excellence – in their behaviour, bravery, and enthusiasm

β€œIt was so much fun!” said one student. β€œI didn’t think I’d be able to do the rock wall, but I made it to the top! πŸ§—β€β™‚οΈπŸ”₯”

Teachers were equally proud. β€œOur Year 8s were incredible. They supported each other, took on every challenge with smiles, and truly lived our school values every single day πŸ’¬πŸ’™.”

The three days were packed with laughter πŸ˜‚, learning πŸ“š, and memories that will last a lifetime πŸ«ΆπŸ’«. Huge congratulations to all students and staff for an excellent adventure! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸŒŸ
