Last week, Redbridge Secondary Schoolβs amazing Year 8 students headed off for an unforgettable three-day adventure camp filled with fun, friendship, and new experiences ππ.
Set in the heart of nature, the camp gave students the perfect opportunity to explore the outdoors and challenge themselves through exciting activities like hiking π₯Ύ, canoeing π£ββοΈ, archery π―, high ropes π§ββοΈ, and campfire cooking π₯π‘.
From start to finish, students demonstrated the Redbridge values:
β¨ Aspiration β by pushing themselves out of their comfort zones
π€ Respect β through kindness, teamwork, and encouragement
π― Opportunity β by trying something new each day
π Excellence β in their behaviour, bravery, and enthusiasm
βIt was so much fun!β said one student. βI didnβt think Iβd be able to do the rock wall, but I made it to the top! π§ββοΈπ₯β
Teachers were equally proud. βOur Year 8s were incredible. They supported each other, took on every challenge with smiles, and truly lived our school values every single day π¬π.β
The three days were packed with laughter π, learning π, and memories that will last a lifetime π«Άπ«. Huge congratulations to all students and staff for an excellent adventure! πππ
