We were honoured to host a visit from Southampton FC women’s defender Paige Peake last week. Paige thoroughly enjoyed watching the team in action and shared some invaluable words of advice during halftime and after the match. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to learn from her insights, and we hope they took a lot away from the experience.
Paige Peake Player Bio:
Starting her footballing career at Ipswich Town’s Centre of Excellence, 19-year-old Peake had a brief spell with Essex COE before returning to the Tractor Girls’ WSL Academy setup.
Proving herself for the young Tractor Girls, Peake was handed her first team debut in the opening game of the 2019/20 season, establishing herself as a regular in Joe Sheehan’s side.
Peake featured heavily in the Tractor Girls side that pushed Saints for the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier promotion spot during the 2021/22 season, becoming just the second women’s player to sign professional terms with the club and scoring a penalty in the most recent encounter between the two sides in which Saints came out 2-1 winners.
On the international stage, Peake has been a regular face within the Lionesses youth setup, winning caps from U15 level up until more recent involvement with England U19s.

We would like to offer our special thanks to Anwen & Caitlin for their efforts in organizing the event—it wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work.
In addition to this event, we are thrilled to report that 191 complimentary tickets were claimed by RCS for the women’s match game on Sunday, September 29. What a great turn out!
We’re looking forward to scheduling a male player appearance soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
