Rebridge School students had an out-of-this-world experience on their recent Maths Trip to the STEM Fair at Southampton University! 🎓🔬
From brain-bending challenges to futuristic fun, the day was packed with exciting activities. Highlights included:
🔧 The Mars Bar Bridge Challenge – Students worked in teams to build the strongest bridge using only Mars Bars and tape! 🍫🛠️
🎉 Congratulations to Miss Reynolds, whose bridge stood the ultimate test and was crowned the winner! 🏆👏
🛫 Flight Simulators – Budding pilots got a taste of aviation as they soared through the skies in realistic flight simulations! ✈️🕹️
🌪️ Air-Powered Vortex Cannons – Students aimed powerful gusts of air to knock down stacked pyramids, learning all about air pressure and engineering along the way! 💨🏰
The trip not only deepened students’ love for maths and science, but also showed how classroom learning connects with real-world innovation. 💡🌍
A huge thank you to Southampton University for hosting such an inspiring day — and well done to all students and staff for making it unforgettable! 🌟📚
